The is a legal agreement between the customer and The Window Hospital Inc., in which the customer hires The Window Hospital Inc. as their contractor. The customer agrees to the following terms:
Upon signing, the customer will be scheduled for a pre-measurement of their glass package. During this process, the glass may be broken or cracked and, if it is tempered glass, may shatter into small pieces. The Window Hospital Inc. cannot guarantee a perfectly clean site as pieces of glass may scatter. If the glass breaks, it is the customer's responsibility to seal the opening until the next day when the install is performed.
The customer may reschedule the pre-measurement appointment within 48 hours. If the customer misses the appointment, they will be charged a $100 fee.
The customer is responsible for moving any items of value or large obstructions around the area where work will be performed to ensure sufficient work space for the installers. If the area is not cleared to the installers' satisfaction, a $100 fee may be charged or a fee may be charged to move items if necessary.
The Window Hospital Inc. does not store un-installed glass, so the install must be completed promptly after the glass has been measured and manufactured. If the customer reschedules within a 48 hour period, the reschedule must be set within a 10 day period. Otherwise, a $20 per sash per day storage fee will be implemented.
After 72 hours, it is the customer's responsibility to clean the window glass inside and outside, as the sealants used must cure before cleaning can be done. The glazing may break during installation and is not guaranteed.
If The Window Hospital Inc. is performing parts installation, they can suggest replacement parts but cannot guarantee that other parts will not fail after installation. Re-screen jobs do not carry a warranty/guarantee and The Window Hospital Inc. is not responsible for any damage to frames, hardware, or splines.
The Window Hospital Inc. will return calls, texts, and emails at their earliest convenience, typically within 24 hours. However, they are closed on weekends and may be busy at times. For "At your beckon call service," a $500 per day fee will be added, with the customer receiving priority treatment from measure to install and beyond.
If the customer cancels after the pre-measurement, a $100 fee will be charged. If the customer cancels before the install, the contract amount minus labor (determined by The Window Hospital Inc.) will be charged. If the customer does not pay after the install, they will be responsible for collections fees and any fees incurred during the collection process.
At our company, we offer free estimates for window installations. Simply send us a picture of the entire window to 540-603-0088, and we will provide you with a price. If the pricing sounds reasonable to you, we will schedule a day to come and measure the window and then schedule the installation for the following day. We understand the importance of careful planning, especially when considering the amount of territory we cover and the traffic on 95. While we try our best to give accurate time frames, the nature of our work sometimes makes this difficult. In order to avoid delays and keep our schedule running smoothly, we typically offer a one hour window for our visits. We will also text you when we are leaving our previous stop so you have an idea of when to expect us. We are a service-oriented company that takes pride in providing quick and efficient repairs for broken windows. We strive to avoid the high pressure sales tactics and deceptive practices of some companies that only offer "free estimates" as a way to sell unnecessary and expensive fixes. In rare cases, we may need to measure larger windows for accurate pricing, but in most cases a picture will suffice. If you do require an in-person estimate, we do charge a service fee to value our time and ensure that when we come to your home, it is for a specific job rather than just to sell you on our services. At our company, we prioritize responding to calls, texts, and emails within 24 hours, although this may not always be possible due to our closed weekends and occasional high volume of work. To ensure the most affordable prices for our clients, we do not have 24/7 phone coverage, For the 1% we do offer the option of an "At your beckon call service" for an additional $500 per day. This service guarantees that you will receive our full attention and immediate response to any inquiries or needs. For the other 1% we offer the "I need a call now" option for $150, which allows you to bypass any current calls and be promptly contacted by our team. For the 98% we strive to provide the best possible service and flexibility for our clients, and we ask for your understanding and patience as we work to assist you in a timely and efficient manner.
